Post Referencing for ebook

Hi Moe

I have recently hired a researcher for my info product. They are doing a great job so far and I cant help but get excited at the potential of outsourcing this kind of work.
My question relates to referencing. They are using the internet for researching which is fine, but what kind of referencing style do you use for information gathered from the web? My wife is an academic and I see her work using with both Harvard and APA style which I know is top notch. But what is needed for an ebook?
Is it enough to list websites at the end of the book? I plan on using foot notes for things like dates info was provided. $$$/pound of a product for example.

What are your thoughts and what have you used previously?

Thanks
Thomas

Hi Thomas – no need to use any kind of academic referencing, unless you’ll be selling the ebook to academics. The vast majority of people don’t care about that sort of thing, and most people won’t even review the references.
